Disclaimer : This blog post will contain spoilers to the Geek Girl franchise and especially the most recent book Forever Geek.

Hi Everyone,

I'm Blogger Anonymous and this is the second instalment of my blogging journey.

This week I am going to be talking about a book series I have just finished reading called Geek Girl from the infamous Holly Smale!

(IK I am late jumping on the band wagon with this one but it's better late than never)

So where do I begin? If you're unfamiliar with Geek Girl I encourage you to STOP reading this right now ( !!! ) and go and read it because once it has captivated you there is no turning back.

I thought that the 8th (or arguably 9th) book in this series was.... well.... interesting. It definitely took me a little while longer to sink into this book than it did with any of the others but once I did it was the similar, comfy and familiar story IK and love.
I was very happy to discover that not the WHOLE purpose of the trip to Australia was purely focused on Nick and that there was also the aspects of modelling, exploring, building family bonds and the traditional Harriet Manners mishaps in-store, not to mention Nat's key role in this book along with her upcoming fashion brand.
I also loved Holly's decision to drop the Harriet-Jasper relationship as I, along with many other readers, thought that was a bit of a lost cause and then (predictably ) the Harriet-Nick relation was back in full swing as of the last few chapters and, although this card has been played many times before in the Geek Girl books, it is a much loved move and (as Forever Geek is the finale) it only seemed right.

One thing I can't go without talking about is poor old Bunty Brown, we all new she was making a return for the final book but her abrupt ending certainly wasn't what I presumed Holly had planned for her. Although it was sad that we had to say an early goodbye to a character we barely new I think it was honourable that Holly cut her time short because it really put into perspective how fragile human life is and how it can be snatched away in the flick of a page. Even though I hadn't expected Bunty to be the one who was going to pass I knew deep down that it most certainly wasn't going to be  Yuka she's like an invincible super power Harriet's mom of the fashion world and Holly wasn't going to cut her out.

Comment what you would like to read next week,

I will be posting next Saturdays at 4pm GMT so check here then!

Until next time, remember your part of the family,

Lots of love,

Hi Everyone,

I'm Blogger Anonymous and this is the start of my blogging journey!
I have been interested in blogging for 2 years now and I guess the fascination came from reading blogs such as Zoella and Poppy Deyes. I have always admired powerful women like these and so many others who are actually making a difference in this world we live in, but it never occurred to me that I could be one of them, all I can say is it's worth a try. If I can make a positive influence on even one persons' life then that makes my time worth it!

I am a girl from a big city who moved to a small town and the adjustment has never quite caught up with me. It's not that I'm not happy here, on the contrary I love it! I'm just by the sea, I have a great group of really supportive friends and obtain good grades. The only two downsides are my family and finding a place of acceptance (IK so cliche). My family has always been a been a bit all over the place, a rollercoaster if you will. I don't think I would survive family life if it wasn't for my sister and older brother who are my rocks.

If I was to summarise myself in one word it would be addict. I can't help it! I start something and just get so caught up in it, for example I am a competitive gymnast and have been for the last 4 years! My teachers at school describe me as very motivated, determined and driven, to the point that one of them actually said I work too hard and need to calm down a bit! Not to mention I am a Harry Potter addict, it is basically my life, everything from my wardrobe to my bedroom is Harry Potter themed (much to the horror of my sister who shares a room with me and just has to live with it) !

On this page my plan is to talk about personal experiences, share photos, lifestyle tips, what I eat in a day, talk about fandoms and maybe even write fanfiction.

I will be posting on Saturdays at 5pm GMT so check here then!

Until next time, remember your part of the family,

Lots of love,
